Business Profile Lunch of Omaha is a networking opportunity for those that are engaged in the Omaha marketplace to come together once a month for connection, fellowship, and encouragement. This month will feature Douglas County Treasurer John Ewing.

John Ewing currently serves as Douglas County Treasurer. He is responsible for the collection of over 1.7 billion dollars in taxes for the governmental entities in Douglas County. The Douglas County Treasurer's Office also makes investments for the county and Sanitary Improvement Districts and disperses tax dollars to the appropriate entities. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UNO. From 1982 to 2006, John served as Deputy Chief of Police for the Omaha Police Department. John also has been ordained in 2004 by the Jehovah Shammah Baptist Church. Family man to community servant come and here John’s life story.
