Business Profile Lunch (March 9) Mike Sveurm
Mike is a native of Nebraska and graduated from Elkhorn High where he met his future wife Tammy. Mike’s comfort and security as a CFO in a large firm coupled with his happy family life with two daughters and an active music ministry at church led him to believe that life was great. That is, until it wasn’t so great! Mike fit into the mold of many executives as anxiety and worry began to take its toll. He was overwhelmed with these demons and as he put it, “I felt wrapped around the axle.” Mike reached out to Karl Schaphorst, a business man who was willing help and engage him in CBMC’s Operation Timothy. It was through this mentoring program and a spiritual renewal that Mike was able to realign his life.
